Why use facial threading?
It’s a technique that allows you to achieve perfectly shaped eyebrows or to reduce facial fuzz that sometimes gives a peach like complexion. Threading is a great and easy solution that will have lasting results for up to six weeks. It’s very fast too, it can take less than 30 minutes! It’s a relatively pain free method of hair removal.

Facial threading is not a new a fad!
Although over the last few years it’s become really popular with many celebs getting amazing looking eyebrows by using threading, it’s actually a technique that’s been around for over 6000 years.
It is thought that it was one of the first and safest hair removal techniques which started in India and has now spread across the globe.
But while threading is mostly used for eyebrows, it can also be a highly effective way of removing unwanted hair on the entire face and upper lip area.

How is threading done?
Like most other forms of hair removal or beauty treatments, threading usually takes place in a relaxing setting such as my own comfortable home clinic. You’ll take a seat and we’ll discuss your aims before getting started. If you have any specific needs, like wanting to grow out your eyebrows to certain shape or want to thicken the ends, now’s the time to mention them.
Once we get started, I’ll roll a thin cotton thread over the areas you want to be worked on. This will pluck the unwanted hairs at the follicle.
Threading is a skilled technique, with using two pieces of cotton thread, twisted and then rolled out, several hairs are plucked at once as opposed to plucking one hair at a time. It’s fast, precise and allows for better definition of your brows, leaving them perfectly-shaped and symmetrical.
Threading will also save you time, you won’t need to pluck between now and your next session! The results usually last around 5-6 weeks.
